The Accrediting Commission of DETC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and it is also a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
   
   
2. American Graduate University has full institutional approval from the State of California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education to grant advanced degrees.
