A word from AGU about...

ANNOUNCING POLICY CHANGES TO EXTENSIONS,
RE-ENROLLMENTS, AND MULTI-COURSE REGISTRATIONS

The purpose of this EdAlert is to notify students of upcoming changes to AGU policy concerning Course Completion Extensions/Re-enrollments and Multi-Course Registrations for Non-VA students. These changes take effect October 1, 2014.

Course Completion Extensions/Re-enrollments for Non-VA Students: Students who do not complete their course within the original five month term may request one 30 day course extension at no charge. An additional 30 day extension may be requested for a fee of $100. For students who do not complete their course within the second 30 day extension, a five month re-enrollment term may be requested. The re-enrollment fee is $325. For students who do not complete their course within the extension and reenrollment terms, a second re-enrollment is available at the current tuition price. For the second re-enrollment, all work completed in the original course will be deleted from our system and the student must start the course from the beginning.

Any extension granted by American Graduate University does not alter the student's tuition assistance agreement with or financial responsibility to their funding organization. Students are responsible for obtaining approval from their funding organization for any changes to their original tuition assistance agreement completion dates. Failure to secure this approval from their funding organization may result in the student having to repay the tuition assistance amount back to the funding organization.

Multi-Course Enrollments for Non-VA Students: Enrollment in two courses is considered full-time at AGU. If a student wishes to enroll in an additional one or two courses, the student's current course(s) must be at least 80% complete before the student can be enrolled in any additional courses. No more than two additional courses will be allowed and students must be actively working on their current courses.
